The British are coming, The British are coming. I say, bring them on! The UK has been trying to break a band here in the US since the Beatles. However, most of the time, the next big thing over there ends up in the cutout bins here. The Arctic Monkeys could break this trend. Their album becomes more infectious with every listen. I find myself humming their songs long after the music has ended. Moreover, I have gained more respect for this band because they built their fan base by releasing MP3s on the internet. Initially considered fools by record labels, they ended up selling a tremendous amount of records, made an appearance on SNL, and even managed to captivate Americans to buy in.
