Natural Dreamers is a project featuring Chris Cohen (ex-Deerhoof, Cryptacize, The Curtains, etc.), John Dieterich (Deerhoof, SWAPS, Gorge Trio, etc.) and Jay Pellicci (Dilute, 31 Knots, etc.). On this limited 7-inch release you get to hear two very distinct tracks from the band that feels and sounds all about exploration.

The A-side “Sir G” kicks things off with a fuzzy electric guitar riff that will instantly make you take notice as the instrumental track moves towards a progression of experiment. It has peaks and valleys of noise that never feels out of control but always has the potential to fly off the rails. I those pieces always makes for a good instrumental track and this song nails it all the way through its crazy screeching conclusion. The B-side, “Just No Probs” is another instrumental track that is filled with psychedelic and spacey interludes that interrupt the soft and subdued guitar plucking while its smooth jazz undertone keeps your attention. It is a 7-inch that offers a slice of different and for that it succeeds.

The jacket here has a classic Dischord-style art cardboard cover that folds over like a book to hold the record . The 45 rpm wax is limited to just 259 copies on standard black and it comes with a digital download. Joyful Noise is sold out so if you would like you will need to hit the Internet.
