Spoon: Hot Thoughts – Limited Purple Vinyl

Months of speculation come to an end today as details of the new Spoon album can be confirmed: Their ninth album, Hot Thoughts, will be out March 17 on Matador Records. You can pick up a copy on limited edition purple vinyl, exclusive to Matador and the Spoon web store orders only.

IF YOU ORDER THE PURPLE, YOU MAY GET THE GREEN. If you receive the Golden Ticket Green Vinyl version (one copy in the Matador US webstore, one copy in the Matador UK webstore), you win tickets to the Spoon show of your choosing. A green vinyl with a pair of tickets would be great but only giving out 1 per two sections of the world seems over the top limited but hey – if it shows up on your doorstep it will be one the biggest vinyl prizes for the year!
